Hosting in Moldova: providers compared

How to choose hosting in Moldova

• Look at the renewal price, not just the first-year price. The first-year discount ends at the first renewal, and over two or three years you mostly pay the renewal price. We show both prices for every offer.
• Choose a server close to your visitors. If the site is for customers in Moldova, a server in Chișinău responds faster than one in Germany or the Netherlands. For an audience across Europe, a data centre in the EU works just as well.
• Check how you will pay. A company in Moldova usually needs a tax invoice in lei, with VAT, and not every provider issues one. When paying by card in euro or dollars, your bank may charge a conversion fee.
• Support matters when something breaks. Check whether support answers 24/7, on which channels (ticket, chat, phone) and in which language.
• Do not pay for resources you do not need. A brochure site or a blog fits in a few GB; 10 GB, the threshold of our reference plan, is enough for most small sites, email included. A large online shop or a high-traffic project needs a VPS.
